DIY frozen yoghurt is having a moment, and the best bit is, it’s never been easier to make your own version of yummy Fro-Yo goodness from home! We’ve listed all the inspo you need to get started…
Yo-Pops
The Fro-Yo classic, yo-pops are super easy to make, all you need are yo-pop moulds (available from most supermarkets and major retail outlets). Simply fill the moulds with yoghurt of your choice (we love using MOO Boysenberry & Super Acai or Blood Orange & Passion Compote) and freeze. Add fresh fruits and berries for extra oomph!
‘Nice’ Cream
Like ice-cream, but nicer. Blitz bananas, mango, MOO Greek Style Yoghurt, plus any other ingredients of your choice. Pour into a tupperware container and freeze until set. Scoop out using an ice-cream scoop and top with a drizzle of honey.
Yoghurt-coated snacks
If you haven’t tried fro-yo coated fruits, you’re missing out! Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries…dip them in yoghurt, freeze and enjoy!
MOO Pops
For when you just don’t have time, MOO Pops are a saviour. All you need is a 160g tub of MOO, a popsicle stick and a freezer. Genius.
Zip-Pops
We love Zip-Pops, also known as DIY zooper doopers! Fill the cases (you can buy these online) with your favourite smoothie or juice mixture and freeze.
