Black Forest Trifle


  • 500g tub of ready-to-eat custard
  • 100g milk chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 720g tub of MOO Creamy Smooth yoghurt (we’ve substituted for Β a lighter alternative, instead of cream)
  • Chocolate brownies OR chocolate sponge cake
  • Fresh cherries
  • Icing sugar


  1. Put the custard into a pan with the chocolate pieces and gently heat, stirring until the chocolate has melted into the custard. Cover with cling wrap and chill
  2. Arrange the brownies/chocolate sponge into the base of individual serving glasses
  3. Top with a dollop of MOO Creamy Smooth yoghurtΒ 
  4. Scatter the fresh cherries (chopped & pitted) on top and drizzle with the custard mixture
  5. Continue layering until full
  6. Pile the top of the trifle with fresh, whole cherries, and sprinkle with icing sugar
  7. Enjoy!
